The Servotwin electro-hydraulic steering system for heavy commercial vehicles is the innovative combination of the Servocom recirculating ball and nut power steering system with a steering control unit (electric motor and electronic control unit). The system offers speed-dependent steering assistance with active return, various driver assistance functions and enables automated driving functions. Due to the electric assistance of the Servotwin, an emergency steering support can be realized without an additional second hydraulic steering circuit.
