Improved wiping technology

Conventional windshield cleaning systems are designed for a specific travel speed: as the speed increases, so does the airstream. The washer fluid spray is deflected, meaning that less fluid reaches the wiper field and cleaning performance is reduced as a result. This not only affects driver visibility but can also impair any camera- and sensor-based driver assistance systems located behind the windshield, potentially rendering them inactive.

Jet Wiper Blade Aero directs the washer fluid exactly where it is needed and at the exact volume required. Consumption is thus reduced by up to 50 percent. Moreover, the correct function of optical systems such as cameras or LiDAR positioned in the wiper field is improved. This is a prerequisite for automated driving.
