Key features

Trailer safety control is a Bosch developed product which provides an increased level of safety to the trailer, towing vehicle and passengers. Incorporating functions such as trailer antilock braking system (ABS), trailer sway mitigation and trailer lane change control, it provides a new level of safety control on electric braked trailers.

Assisted braking with the help of ABS

In emergency braking situations, your wheels can often lock up, sending you and your vehicle into a skid. When your vehicle is skidding, you lose control of the vehicle and the ability to steer away from danger. Your vehicle also loses lateral stability, meaning the vehicle can spin or rotate easier, making jackknifing and rollovers even more probable.

ABS prevents your wheels from locking, pulsing the brakes as it senses a dangerous situation. It does this automatically in the blink of an eye and gives you back the ability to steer away from danger, as well as making your vehicle more stable in the first place.

Lane change control

The swerve control function recognizes if you suddenly input a severe change in direction - usually when the driver is trying to avoid an obstacle - and delivers a braking pattern that will reduce the chance of jackknifing or rollover. It will also mitigate any negative impacts from oversteering or counter-steering.

Trailer sway mitigation

Using a more advanced array of sensors than any other system on the market, TSC instantly identifies a trailer sway event and intelligently ramps in the braking to match the oscillations, providing stability in a more controlled manner and avoiding panic.

Bluetooth odometer and diagnostics

Using the wheel-speed sensors, TSC gives you a highly accurate reading of the mileage of your caravan through the connected BT app. This allows you to schedule preventative maintenance and servicing of your van, avoiding problems before they get too big or costly. The system also intelligently monitors itself and provides you with diagnostic information.
