Connected speed-limit information​

Reliable knowledge of current speed limits plays a crucial role in ensuring safe driving and smooth operation of modern assistance systems. Conventional navigation maps, however, are frequently outdated, which leads to incorrect displays, unnecessary braking, or an uncomfortable driving experience – particularly with dynamic displays such as LED signs or roadworks. Our connected speed-limit information service addresses this problem by providing highly precise and continuously updated information on any applicable speed limits. This allows intelligent speed assist (ISA) and adaptive cruise control (ACC) functions to work to optimum effect and deliver an ideal driving experience.
