The RideCare companion is fully equipped with features for ridesharing drivers to help them feel safer during every ride. The combination of 24/7 support*, a secure cloud connection and automated footage organization, provides a solution that is meant to help and support drivers in as many ways as possible.
The Safety Call allows drivers to directly speak with a trained Bosch agent from the driver portal.* Drivers can use this feature without having to leave the driver portal.
The driver portal provides an overview of the system. Here footage can be played and downloaded. The algorithm developed for the RideCare companion automatically detects the start and end of each ride. Making it easy for drivers to navigate and find each ride by location and date.
The interior camera captures footage automatically, providing high quality data. At night the device uses infrared to capture the interior clearly, even when the lighting is not optimal.
The second camera captures the forward surroundings through the windshield. This footage can help clarify incidents that involved other traffic participants or give trained Bosch agents further information about the location of a driver, should they need support.
All videos are documented with the location and a timestamp and can be used as proof in case of disputes. Providing reliable data to clear up any misunderstandings.
Through AI algorithms, the RideCare companion ensures that the device footage is properly captured and accessible for trained Bosch agents. Through these algorithms, the system can detect if the camera is tilted too much or the view is obstructed, providing a notification to the driver.
